CCD
Multispectral acqusition
This is a digital IR B/W acquisition performed
with a scientific cooled digital CCD
camera, with sensitivity till 1100 nm,
a set of 8 narrow-band (40-50 nm) interferential
filters, in the 750-1100 nm range.
The radiation source has a continuous emission
spectrum, and rich emission in the long wavelength
range.
The acquisition is performed with a standardized
procedure, implying the device prior lab calibration,
an on-site calibration, stable set-up, sensitivity,
filter system and radiation source, whose characteristics
are mentioned in the technical report.
This will be provided together with the acquired
and processed data.
Data processing will be performed in order to
enhance data fruition, e.g. by differentiating
and spatially locating the various
homogeneous areas, and comparing them with data in our database, in order
to identify the different materials.
This method is specifically designed for this.

Images, one for each band, plus a recombined
panchromatic image, will be provided with 8
and 16 bit resolution, in raw and tiff
format (or similar, as agreed upon) on a CD
or DVD. If the acquisition consists of more
than one image, a mosaic of
the various images will be performed and provided.
Prints of the images will be provided upon request*.
An IR-false colour image may
also be provided upon request*.
Average acquisition time: 2h/acquisition. |
