BIAF (26 September – 3 October 2026), the largest and oldest art and antiques fair dedicated to Italian art and antiquities, is about to begin. It returns to the magnificent setting of Palazzo Corsini, a late Baroque building overlooking the Arno River that is by itself worth a visit. The palace provides a stunning backdrop for the works brought to the fair by 80 international galleries.
However, having a long history is not enough to maintain a position of prestige. That’s why BIAF continues to evolve, and in recent years, it has created a true “Ancient and Modern Italian Art Week” in Florence, in parallel to the fair. This event attracts enthusiasts, collectors, and institutions from around the world, engaging the city, its spaces, and the cultural heritage that still thrives today.
Gucci and other Florentine fashion and design masters together with art galleries will open their doors and showcase their latest propositions. The city’s institutions, both large and small—from Palazzo Strozzi to the Museo dell’Opificio delle Pietre Dure—will complement the event with exhibitions and presentations.

We would like to highlight, for example, the event “Protection is an Art“, taking place at Giunti Spazio Odeon on September 25th at 12:00 PM, the day before the fair inauguration.
