As we were preparing the articles for our newsletter, we received the sad news of Carlo Frittelli’s passing.
We are not entitle to recount Carlo’s career or the significance of his gallery, but we feel compelled to share a memory of him.
Carlo was a gentle soul, a person of rare culture and singular sensitivity, all seasoned with witty intelligence. There was never a conversation with him that didn’t turn into a lesson on modern or contemporary art.
We could write at length about the work we did with and for Carlo over the years, but that is not the purpose of these few words.
Carlo, for us, will not remain a fleeting memory, but a steadfast reminder to pursue the artistic.
